Yes it would! I'm hoping yours will help me make a final decision on which pickups to put in mine, actually...I'm leaning strongly towards a pair of Nordstrand Neo Blades because I can be fairly certain I'll be happy with them, but the Bigman keeps calling me!

How old is this bass? Can you tell if there's a difference in tone compared to when you first purchased it? I heard that bases sound better as time passes..

The back is Mohogany the center is wenge and the front top is quilted maple.

5 years old now, but no, I can't really say if the tone has changed. If it has, it's hard to say because there's probably been subtly changes to my 'tone' as I've adapted to the instrument, and also finding new sounds with the electronics.

When ever you guys get a chance go to Cliff news page and look at that black and white ebony wood. That is the most beautiful pace of ebony wood I have ever seen..
