Yep! Got confirmation from Cliff a week or two ago....
I'm pretty excited about my CB Bass! I am on the next build too! Here is a 3D rendering I did of my custom body shape. Cliff helped me dial in a few changes to the body and I think it really turned out nice in the model! I went to Cliff's shop and picked out my top wood and took a pic to be used in the model. It's Cottonwood Burl top, Ash body, Purple Heart accents, and Classic Maple neck with Birdseye Maple fretboard. It will be fretted, I just didn't want to model in all the frets! I can't wait to see how it turns out!!!
Love the "completed" pictures in the News page! The last ebony-topped Dola is a particular favorite, but they all look great!
With two BigMan pickups, you'll be throwin' some serious bass frequencies around!
Switchable to series/parallel/single coil, as well...
It will also have 20mm spacing at the bridge and extra-wide "P Bass x 5" nut width...
Big neck, big pickups, big sound!

All of the tops look excellent, but that B&W Ebony is just a special treat for the eyes.
