Club Bordwell Part 4

CB101.JPG

Hey all-
Cliff is starting on a build for me commissioned March 2018- I am pretty certain he was ready to get going sooner but I wanted some special Delano pickups with a long lead time.

I am very excited- seeing his work the past year has made me anxious!
Main Specs-
Ball Bass 4 string
33" Scale
Pink Ivory Board, camphor top, mahoghany core, curly maple back
Delano Hybrid pickup setup
Very similar to Dave Muntners first CB, on his featured builds.

Sweet! The Ball has turned into my favorite shape of Cliff's, after the Dola...

It is really tough to pick my favorite...but in the end (I) can only buy one at a time! That is a great combo though. If there's a next one I'm hoping Cliff will do the same shape and pick the wood combo's himself. He knows what he's doing...
The picture I posted actually prompted me to send Cliff a Facebook message to ask about an estimated price of that instrument as a 6-string. He said between $2500-3000 as a rough estimate, which is not bad at all.

Actually, I would be ok with that bass as a bolt-on, so I could probably save myself a bit of the cost there.

Cliff has only done one bolt-on that I've seen, and it's not listed as an option on the price list, so I doubt you'll save any money there...
