Hi folks,

we just uploaded a new clip onto our myspace, that was recorded using the macebony-topped 4-banger. Just wanted to let you know - if anybody is interested in hearing another Bordwell-sound, feel free to check out. It´s the first song, called Floodland. Give it some time - there are some different parts, where you can hear the bass quite well.

Regards,
Markus

DR makes Sunbeams.

I'm going with a set of Labella Deep Talkin Tapewounds on mine.

I'm afraid I've become addicted to the feel and sound of those strings. I'm betting they will sound as good or better on the Ball Bass as they do on everything else.

I have a few other basses with flats and roundwounds and I like them all.

Thanks.

Doesn't Labella have a pair of black colored strings? I got a pair of their Slappers on my CB SC and I love them!

So, I took my CB Ball bass with me to the Victor Wooten and Anthony Wellington clinic last night!

It was so much fun! I learned so many different ways to approach my playing that I would have never thought up on my own.

So, Victor grew up in my local city, and even attended the same high school as myself. Shoot, my old neighbor was his neighbor growing up. With that said, he gave us almost four hours of music and lessons!!!!

I wish everyone could have seen Anthony's face when he seen my ball bass! I had a hard time getting a picture of him holding it because he wouldn't sit still with it :-)

When I got to Victor, he grabbed my bass and asked who made it. He then turned away from the huge crowd that was begging for an autograph, so that he could show it to Anthony!

I then took a really good picture of Victor with it, and got the two of them to sign the back of the headstock.

Updates......the necks. Love it. ;)

Very cool!!!!

Ok, any opinions on a 3 band with multiple mid freqencies or a 4 band that would get a nice Ken Smith vibe with Kent Armstrong pickups? I could always order the 3 band HAZ from Ken Smith's site and it has the dip switches that could change that tone, but I was wondering if there would be something for easier changes on the fly.
