    Is that a Ziricote fingerboard?

Yes Cliff it is. Considering we are so close one day we will have to get together for a cold one.

  7. This is #308, the Arctic fretless, before sanding and finish.

Looking forward to seeing that finished. What did the weight come in at?

Once It stops raining here and I'm home I need to take a Family photo of the brothers Mike. They have put an end to my substantial GAS problem.

  9. Well... I haven´t asked. Tom knows.

Thanks! Im very, very happy with both of them. Possibly considering a preamp for the fretless.

I know that Tom already confirmed this, but yes, it is. In addition to this Clement fretless, I also own a (fretted) Dingwall Z3 with a zirocote board, and it sounds great on both basses. Somewhat like ebony, but without the pronounced "ping."

  16. Here she is, #308 the Arctic fretless.
    Must say I´m very pleased!

  18. Kudos to Tom! Great work! Very simple, yet very good looking. Bet this is a fast bass!

Are you a Gary Willis fan?

  20. Well, Willis has some good ideas about both instruments and music that works. I play with a floating thumb, and a ramp is very effective for this technique. Also makes you faster.

You are thinking about the Ibanez GWB, right? That bass has been an inspiration, but instead of going Japanese, I knew a guy in Florida who could do it like I wanted :smug:
