Yessir, with Nordy pre-amp, and also going to have piezo's in the bridge with a Bart pre-buffer. On top of that the controls and bridge pup have been arranged so I can add a Roland GK-3B pickup and control module. LOT's of sounds should be available to me.

this is my Clement #131 singlecut 5 strings fretless, great fretless bass for me

1 piece swamp ash body, maple neck, ziricote fingerboard, Nordstrand NJ-5 pups and Hipshot hardware

actually im not a fretless maniac, and i just got some idea to make it fretted, my question is:
1. Does ziricote characteristic similar to rosewood? is it great for slapping?
2. are there any posible problem that i could get from this modification?

I would just have Tom make you a new fretted neck...its bolt on, so why not? You could avoid any issues and get it made to exactly what you want, plus you could always switch back to fretless if you got the inclination.

Ziricote is more similar to ebony, but without the "ping."

I stupidly linked my Paypal to be funded by my checking account... I didn't realize that even though its an electronic transaction, it will still take 3 to 5 days to clear my account, so I gotta wait a little longer for mine.
