Club Clement (Part 7: Post your basses here)

I don't know how many rules I am breaking by asking this (hopefully none), but it makes sense to me to post here first: I have fretted Clement #202 and will be having Tom make a fretless neck for it very soon. I don't like swapping necks and am wondering if any other Clement owners in here would be interested in a 21 fret, fretted neck for their 4 string. It's a beautiful maple/ebony neck in mint condition. Should there be any interest, I would post it in the classifieds and proceed according to forum rules.

Anybody know what size fret wire Tom uses??? I had a Bass of his (#203) and it had some strange/cool as hell frets. They were very thin, like super thin and really nice to play on.

I show #203 had my standard frets on it.

I think that he only has 2 sizes now, normal and wide. 203 might have mandolin frets. I had another makers bass with mandolin frets that had great intonation.

Merry Christmas, everyone! I got my bass shipped to Tom and he will eventually start working on a fretless neck for me. Super excited. I feel like this officially makes me a member of the club, even though I've had #202 for over 2 years now.

yOU IN jaco's hometown, lived on 48th st back in early 90's. Bet that is a really super nice bass to play and a looker , too. Congrats.

How about for my next bass: a wenge body core with butternut layers on top and back, and walnut top and back with bloodwood veneers between the wenge, butternut and walnut. 4 layers of bloodwood veneers?
Probably 20 pounds unless it get chambered to the max?
