Bass complete shipping tomorrow. Specs - 4 string lefty unlined fretless, Kim body style, alder body, Claro walnut top, 5 piece maple neck with Padauk stringers, Katalox fingerboard, Nordstrand Np4a and Big Split pickups, passive electronics, VVT controls. Looking forward to playing it!

I'm becoming a HUGE Tom Clement fan. I got #493 this Spring and the bass is just incredible. I posted a NBD but wanted to spam a little more hoping some other folks contact Tom for a custom short-scale build. I cannot express how awesome this bass is--passive, Barts, pretty much any tone I can imagine. Play-ability is unreal--I don't know if you other folks with Clements have the same neck profile and how you would describe it. Been playing HOURS a day with zero, hand, neck, wrist, finger, shoulder fatigue. WELL WORTH the money! I think Tom's really been honing his craft designing ergonomic basses for years. Enough about me!
