Nope, no one carries Lakland near me, but have listened to some sound clips, read a few reviews. They seem like a refined cross between a Fender Jazz and Gibson SG.
Must stay away from ebay! Just saw a CAR US Decade w/ matching headstock... I'm a sucker for CAR & matching 'stocks ya know!

she's a skyline that got a makeover during the christmas break. new strings and a setup are all that's keeping me from playing the paint right offa her!

This is an active Chi-Sonic Skyline that I got off the bay for a measley $725 with a hardshell case! (though not a lakland). I've only played it for a few minutes until this afternoon when it's getting Labella Flats but it's amazing both in tone, looks and construction, not to mention that it is easily a 9.5/10 condition wise.
I guess I'm #26?

Does anyone here with an active chi-sonic model have a suggestion for the closest P-Bass mid-frequency setting?
Right now I have mine on 450hz with the neck on full, bass & mid @ 2:00, treble flat, but I wanted to see if I could get even closer.
