I have said is once and ill say it again. George F and Marcel are bar none, the best in the business. First class in every aspect of business, craft, relations, anything you can think of. They are just fantastic people and its so cool that they happen to build the best basses in the business.

Same here, BN5 is my first five string and the phenomenal quality and playability of this bass is making the transition much easier.
It will be here Monday.

Cool,my "99" BN5 has been my main bass for the last 13 years. I've been lusting after a VF5 since they first came out but I've never even seen one in person! As soon as I got the BN5 I had George make a very thin clear pickguard as it has that very soft finish that he used to use. I also moved the strap button down to the center of the body,next to the little"tail" to give the strap a more traditional feel across my back.In retrospect I guess I was trying to make it into a VF long before George offered that model
