Dan in Markham is a great guy and I have bought some high end stuff from him including a Fodera. If they don't have stock, a trip to Hamilton is well worth the time. I was there for a couple of hours looking at wood, talking to all the staff, playing basses and getting the Marcel tour. Had a blast!

Yes, Dan is the man! Markham store definitely has the nicest selection of high end bass gear. :thumbsup:

I have another post that some of you may have seen related to cases and gig bags. My recent F Bass acquisition is what led to that query. I have 2 other custom bases that also came in gig bags. And, apparently, based on the current results of the poll, gig bags are the preferred transportation device. The one the F Bass came with is a worn and well used. The fact that the bass doesn't look that way I would think is a credit to the quality of the case. So, I am thinking about replacing it. What would you do? Contact F Bass and get another gig bag? Buy another brand of gig bag? Does F Bass offer a hard shell case? Would you buy that? Is there another brand of hard case that the F bass will fit in?

Love the bass and it rapidly becoming my #1.

I like the FBass bag as well
As the Mono M80.

I only use hard cases if I travel with a bass - which isn't that often any more.
