The seller will sell it at a price someone will pay for it, all else is not really relevant imo... although interesting/fun to talk about.
Same thing happened in the Coppolo world a few years ago...an LG5 went up used at an unheard of price of $10,000 US. Just because of ...well... it was known as a "really good" LG by a few....so not much of a reason to market at that price IMO. I laughed a little and shook my head. Bass sold to the current owner (after the next owner) for $6800 so it sold for a huge amount less to that next owner... obviously. $6800 was still over used market value but much more in line. Don't want to start any Coppolo vs Molloon value discussion here ,just giving an example that someone can ask anything they want and then when the Hail Mary is incomplete he may have to just try to get the 10 yards anyways.
