I don't want to sell Nash short either. Just a hair less refined than the Moollon and the Olinto, but I enjoy playinig the Nash alot, and honestly could probably be my only bass if life came to that.

Just arrived.
Apparently the only - and will be only- alder body in this model he will make.

I’m thinking they are all ash.
Got it on a multi bass trade and just going off of what the original owner told me. It sounds like you would expect- exceptional. Like a early 50’s PBass should sound.
Not sure if it’s a keeper. I’m more of the split pickup PBass or Jazz bass vibe.
That said thought, used it tonight to run tunes and it’s freaking awesome. Have gigs this weekend and I’ll definitely bring it along.

Congratulations on the J. Now the obvious question. If you had to pick one ONLY which would it be? Maybe too soon to tell but had to ask.

I have the 2019 PIV and it came with the flat Dunlop 45-105's. Recently re-strang it with TI Flat 43-100 and they really sing a different tune. They still need to break in for a year or so but they are lighter, brighter, zingier and worth a look. Maybe its just the light gauge, but I'm starting to like them. Anyways not to hijack your thread here, again congrats, that rootbeer is a looker.
