Check out this video with a Korean guy demonstrating the Moollon. It's in Korean but skim through it and there's some good examples worth listening too. I've decided to take the plunge and order a J Bass 4. Here's the video, it's long but worth checking out.

Happy Day!! I pulled the trigger and decided to order my 4 string Moollon bass. Here is a couple of pictures of what it will look like.

Are these pickups noise free ? Or just like other jazz basses

They are hand wound pickups meant to mirror the exact sound of the pre CBS J. So I doubt they are noise free. Would defeat the purpose.

Exciting news. I've been informed that my JBass will be ready in approximately two weeks. This is how it will look.

This is just the sort of thing I want in a five string, could you give the specs on this one please ? was this a one off custom ? I thought they were only doing fender style stuff. Love the color BTW, also more pic if you have more.

Sure here it is:
2-piece alder body
Makassar ebony on 1-piece quartersawn maple
Sparkle Root Beer finish

All parts (pickups, tuning pegs, bridge etc.) everything is made by Moollon... really a great instruments... can't wait to get another!!! MAPLE!!!!
