Also have a fretless 4, with soapbars.

Absolutely love both of these basses. The PJ 4 is my primary bass that I use for almost everything.

I have owned many Sadowskys, however never an Alder/RW 5 string. This bass is perfect in every way and the tone that I have been searching for. I am now finally at peace w/ myself and the search for "THE" one. Here she is my new #1 bass.

This thread has been way to civil for way too long.

It doesn't matter who does the rough work. If the man puts his hands on it, it's a friggan Sadowsky.

The questions is, is a metro a legitamate Sadowsky or just a high end OLP? I mean, it's got his electronics package but otherwise, different woods, different neck, different hands...

I have a question about the bass in that picture. What's up with the reversed P pickup? It's the same way in my Ibanez GSR200, but I never noticed that it's the opposite of a Fender P pickup. Explain?

I knew you would chime in on that. DAMN you are fast but not as fast as me. It sold in less than 10 minutes. I am in need of a Sadowsky P Bass w/ VTC so that $$$$ will go towards that. It was still the best sounding bass I have ever heard I just suck at 5 strings
