Is that a Sennheiser condenser mic ? was just talking to someone the other day about micing the air of a bass cab. Pretty impressive results available with the right mic & it's placement.

I am terrible @ taking pics. The NYC is much more Beautiful in person than the photos show. The BE board stands out much more in person. I dont have a tripod and know nothing about taking pics.

Yes, the Reeves has a world-class clean tube tone. It's right up there with the SA200. Not as warm, but with jaw-dropping lows and singing highs. The SA200 covers a wider range of tones and does a better job of dialing in usable grit/grind.

But you really do need to hear a P/J 5 through a C225 (and that new sealed Reeves 4x10 is pretty darned cool, as well).

Your biggest problem with the close-ups is it looks like you didn't set macro mode on the camera. It's the function that has an icon that looks like a little flower.

Nice. I like everything... fat tone, but you can still hear the notes, nice groove.

Isn't it amazing how good the quality of these little recorders is now? No more of those horrible camera phone things.

See the circular ring with the OK button in the middle? It's on the bottom of that ring. Looks like a little flower. Press it. Your uber-close-ups will come out right. Just remember to press it again to turn it off for normal distance snapshots again.
