Could you do me a favor and measure the clearance under the bell cover?

I have some Fender 5 string J covers lying around, but I never manage to get enough clearance between the strings and the cover.
Maybe the ones the Sadowsky shop is selling have different dimensions..... and are worth ordering over the ocean.

Also got a clear pickguard with it just in case I want to swap it out for a different look.

I got 3044 in Spring 1999 so it is earlier than that

Mine is built in Nov. '94 serial number is 1962 and did you check the control plate? There is a pencil marking for the build date on the back side..

Serial 2659.

The pickups look newer than the bass and there's VTC installed.
