Thanks mate, though I'm in Asia, both China, Japan and Taiwan encountered the earthquake / tsunami, but Hong Kong is still a safe place at this moment.

I feel really sad when I watch the live boardcasting video on TV. :( Also, thought of some japan friends and the Sadowsky Japan crews immediately

Some of you may or may not know but, my wife is from Japan and we have alot of family there. Most are from the Kyoto area, a few outside of Tokyo and some friends in Hokaido. We spoke to all family members today and all are safe thankfully!

I would think the staff at Sadowsky Japan are ok!! That area was not hit too badly. But, it is a scary situation there and not everyone is as lucky as some. I have Japan TV (NHK) at home via Dish Network and we have been watching all day. It is a major blow to a beautiful country that I feel very connected to. I continue to pray for all there! :(

We had a similar situation here when the Haiti disaster happened. I can tell you that Mrs. Roadkill and her family were... uh, concerned. When we finally heard back from the aunts and cousins and stuff it was bittersweet; all were okay, but not so much their neighbourhoods.

So I know your pain and I'm glad for you and yours.

My daughter is there now. I haven't heard from her yet but I do believe that she is fine. She lives about 30mins south of Tokyo, so I think she's fine.

I saw so many videos of the tragedies happening over there... While any number of deaths is horrible, the count is nowhere near as bad as one would expect. I just hope everyone can bounce back without more hardship...

Keeping an eye on things over there via the web...

I'm glad to hear our friends from Sadowsky Tokyo are okay along with our friends on Talkbass from there!

I think by the time they determine the number of "missing", the number of casualties will be huge. I saw one video that showed a town of 70,000 being swept away. They only had a 5 minute warning to evacuate.

Man, I really hope not. That is such a nightmarish scenario... just watching the video alone was very terrifying for me.

I was thinking the same thing... about the five minutes or less warning to bail out of there... I saw how fast the water levels rose...

Seeing what happened over there could turn the coldest person empathetic. I know it's bad, but I still really hope it doesn't get too crazy once everyone is accounted for...

Just bringing this back up cause I'm curious about the possibility of getting this preamp...it's hard to see in the ebay pics if the mid boost switch is there (and the seller does reference the model number on the ebay page). Wondering if someone from the shop could chime in on this.
