You cats a very bad influences. Here I am trying to downsize and what I got was suggestions to buy more basses.
I'm going to have to go hang out elsewhere.

Everything goes better with a Tort guard. I'm thinking of having my dashboard done over in Tortoise, but more of a brownish tone rather than red. I don't want it to look too gaudy. Thanks, #4529 with a tort guard would be another winner. 5 string, 24 fret, 1 3/4 nut; yup, I've thought about it.

In at #355. Here's my two babies. The Tiger's Eye P/J is maybe the sweetest bass I've ever had in my hands. Sounds killer too. I had Roger swap out the soapbars in the 24 fret for Nordy Big Singles. Sounds like the 60s Jazz Bass from Hell! But with a sweet streak, if you want. I'm seriously considering ordering an Original P, in Vintage or Oly White with a matching headstock. Not sure about the board, I seem to lean towards rosewood. If I go that route, it will have a Tort guard (what else is there?) and the single coil orig pickup.

Shoreline gold is also a very classy color. Some gratuitous porn:
I slightly prefer this color, but in a four stringer:
Oh man... now I REALLY wish I was in NYC!!Will's playing the Blue Note as part of the Invalid Link Removed. Sad that Michael is no longer with us, but there are some amazing players coming out that have joined the BBB over the years. (Mike Stern on guitar is what led me to find the show). Tonight, Saturday and Sunday. 8 and 10:30 shows each night. One might presume a Sadowsky or two would be in the mix...![]()

Hey all... doing my obligatory check-in on the Sadowsky thread I do every few months...
Tonight I accidently, in a fit of exhaustion, packed my LTD instead of my Sadowsky for a big gig... and while I like my LTD, what a disappointment! I obviously need more sleep... and more Sadowsky's!!!

What are they strung with? How do you like your fretboard action w/a P-Bass neck? What are your fav tone sets w/the preamp? You'll be hearing from Fran real soon.
Welcome to the club bro.
