Vic,

Those are our normal 4 string Pickups Made by DiMarzio, Spec'd for us.

Robert

Rob, Re that spec'd business, I've noticed that the J pup in the 4 string PJ has a different "colouring" or character in it's tone than the P. & wondered what factor establishes the windings in the PJ4. I understand that a J bass pups have a different winding (bridge & neck) for a particular reason but they're both the same style. I don't understand what determines the J pup tone in a PJ set so they sound good when blended & aren't working against each other. I'm writing a book. JK!!! Thanks for any help.

So, our guitarist has had a friend informally shooting some vids at our recent gigs, and I happened to have my RV4 out for the date two weeks ago.

Apologies up front for the audio quality and casual hobbyist ( as Anthony Jackson refers to it) playing. But, dang it if the Sadowsky does not just sit exactly where you want it...Bass guitars just don't get much better than this, IME.

Timothy, what's that glossy stuff on your neck. :hiding:
JK bro. ;)
You & I went through the build wait at the same time & it still brings a smile doesn't it. Best wait time I ever went through. All the best bro.

BTW - Thanks for that great photo of H.K. on the Sad' forum site.

haha.. I'm fine with the "glossy", just not as sticky as some instrument necks.. and the glossy reminded me of how much I play this instrument, I had just intensively playing the bass 12hrs a day last week because of a gig....!!

I'm happy with the bass...A truly keeper and Go-to bass of mine!
