It was fun. I was subbing, hence the music stand, but we rocked and the crowd was appreciative. My UV 70 always sounds BIG and is perfect for filling up space, especially outdoors.

He's not all over these boards like we are, but he does get around to at least seeing things eventually. They're pretty busy over there, but he does eventually find time to check in.

I'm enjoying the album immensely. It's really not my kind of music, but as I listen in my earbuds as opposed to just having the tunes on in the background, I hear a lot of nice nuance on the part of all three musicians, and that Sadowsky sounds great. I also played it while bathing the baby to-night. She seemed enamoured with it, to the point of 'dancing' along.
That's a win, in my book.
Did the guitarist use the Godin I saw in the YouTube vid on the CD? I noticed that guitar off the bat. It's a good company run by a really nice guy. I used to run a Godin A5 fretted bass, and there was a lot to like about it. The company's better at 6-string guitars than basses though, in my opinion.

I'm curious what it is like in the 25watt setting for home practice...
Maybe one of the 210's, but honestly, for 25W, it might even be the little UL110 I have out for general practice use.
I think I'm going back to round wound on the PJ5. Flats are fun but not sure it's the tone I want.

I tried Sadowsky flats on my PJ and they didn't have a tone I'd like to use often. They were nice, just not my thing. I started with black labels on and am currently using blue label, undecided as to which type I like better. The black have a nice deep tone with tamed mids but the bottom on the blues can be very focused and articulate when boosted while the mids are still very punchy. Its a tough decision, lol.
