I use it all the time; one of two ways:
Roll a little back, for the usual passive tone reasons...
or,
boost active treble a bit, cut passive tone a bit, for a brighter tone that "retains some sweetness to it."

I'm sure other folks do things differently than I do.

+1 It is a really valuable tool, imo.

I use mine a lot as well.

And the VTC kit comes with everything you need, as I understand it.

Probably, It looks like 2 pots are in the kit so maybe that is exactly what they are.

B/T stacked
VTC push/pull

I'd just take out the single B and T controls that are in there now. Sounds like it's worth the price so I'll order one.

Thanks guys
No need to guess, the VTC retro-fit kit has everything needed. I just double checked...

Hey, someone check me on this. The neck and headstock are finished in the usual thin nitro, but the bodies are finished in poly, right?

I was putting the fuzzy finish-saver or whatever it's called on the foam top fork of my stand last night, but I'm wondering if I need to do something similar to the bottom?

Correct!! neck=nitro, body=poly.
If you have a stand with a "U" shaped neck support, use the Nitroguard we included. Nothing needed for the body.

I got a new toy for my basses...
Lunchtime now, just starting to pull staples out to get the box open.

Oh boy - new toys! Now you're supposed to make one of those 'unboxing videos' so we can all experience the 'buyer's rush' you get when opening a new toy.

I stopped getting gear delivered at work as jealous bosses make mental notes that you have disposable income, so come review time... :spit:

Nice amp! Congrats!
