For some reason I feel like sadowsky players should be drinking bourbon, not scotch. The scotch guys play coffee table boutique neck throughs. Our basses are cheaper, and sound better.

Huh. I always thought that Fender guys were the Bourbon drinkers and the NYC Sadowsky crowd would be single-malt scotch. I think it's because I really *couldn't* afford my Sadowsky.

Hm. I guess that makes those fancy-dancy players absinthe drinkers, by my reasoning.

As a former Godin player, I had to learn about Rye and icewine...

This could get very, very involved pretty quickly.

BZZZZZT! Wrong! (but thanks for playing). ;)

I drink some bourbon, but mostly single malt scotch (and now Tequila - and ironically, mainly due to the influence of what you'd call a coffee table bass maker!), and I have both a "fancy" Sadowsky as well as a couple more "working class" models. :D

Interesting...I'm a new fan of single malt Scotch (Oban and Glenfiddich) but used to drink Patron and 1800 Reposado Tequila...I play a Lakland and just picked up a used Stingray but sounds like I'm headed for a Sadowsky soon ;-)

On a serious note, Vic I'm looking for a new Tequila...what would you recommend?

Hmmm, I'm strictly a beer guy. The good stuff, not domestic.
I'd be barking at the moon if I ventured off the beer path.

But, I only play Sadowsky basses so I'm still in the club!

Hey, I've also owned a few Godins: Freeway 4, Freeway5, SD-4, BG5.

I prefer to be democratic like George Thorogood who probably said it the best: "One bourbon... one scotch... one beer".

But none of that stuff makes me play any better. Apparently only practice helps.

We're talkin' about drinkin'?

Schlafly dry hopped APA, and/or Wild Turkey. Maker's Mark if I'm flush.
Imess with home-brew some, and I make both a really good limoncello, and a pretty wicked black pepper infused vodka.
The vodka makes really good bloody mary's, and a pretty spicy martini with jalapeno stuffed olive.

New PJ5, on vehicle for delivery.
