roadkill2309 said:So, as at least one of you knows, today was the 40th birthday for which I'd bought myself my Sadowsky Standard. I got to play it at a surprise party/short gig at Hurley's Irish Pub yesterday evening, as well as a wedding in Ontario and a house concert. So: One amp and cab, and two different PA systems. The bass performed extremely well through all three. Truth be told though, I need to spend more time dialling in my amp's sound better. I gig with an amp so rarely that I've never really got the thing to where I want it.
But I absolutely have to give a wicked shout out to the missus, who swiped the picture that Kevin sent me when the bass was done and had it turned into my birthday cake. I sent pics to Roger and Kevin, and Imma share them here as well.
