Club Sadowsky!!!

So i see Metros selling used for $1800-$2000, depending on condition, so i would think $1000 more would be fair for an NYC. So why is my AAAAA Quilt topped NYC PJ4 still here!?!? I have it at $2999 shipped, is that a fair price and if not, what is a fair price? Damn economy

In action with said PJ4.

I think your last phrase there is the answer. That price seems fine to me--unless you've been beating the snot out of the bass... :D

I just looked..sweet looking bass and priced more than fair. As the other guys said it will take a little patience.

My UV70-5 just got delivered, looks great! It's M4205, so that would put it some time in 2010 based on the serial number timeline in the Sadowsky forums. I guess that means it should already have the 500k pot since that started around M3500.

I'm at work and pretty busy with the 1120 extension deadline so I won't be able to really check it out until tonight. I'll definitely report my thoughts!

Here's a couple quick pics, sorry for the annoying lighting at my desk:

I am having so much fun with my Sadowsky NYC MV4 (my 4th Sadowsky J bass) that I have been thinking that I would really like a Sadowsky Ultra Vintage P Bass too.
Anyone here have any experience of the new Vintiquity versions?

Yeah, this is my main bass:

I've had it about a year and a half. It rules all other p basses I've played. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

That looks fantastic. I'd love to know everything about it. I really would like to get a p-bass to replace my old '64 that I sold back in '83. There are a lot out there but I need it to be light (back issues) so I'm thinking Sadowsky is the way to go..
