Why thanks Rob......I kinda do dont I! LOL!!!!

My Will Lee DESTROYED the club last night.
Put that Double Stop Lever on it last night and when I dropped it down and grabbed few notes below low D, man did I get looks of wonder from the other guys in the band!

I've owned 4's from pretty much all the top shelf companies and this is about the best one I've had the pleasure of owning.

It's not my Sadowsky (it's my PRS 4), but here is a sample of what an E string sounds like dropped to low B. Using a Double Stop lever.
E string is a GHS Boomer .105 BTW



Rig was simple, PRS- Demeter Compulator- GenzBenz Streamliner 900- BagEnd co-ax 15 cab.

You have to search the HipShot site, the lever isn't easy to find, but it's on there. $35 for it.

Left a Bass work shop and went to a restaurant to have a few cold ones and saw this and had to take a pic. Latin Grammy winning sensations Juanes and Juan Luis Guerra who will both be in concert together in November. They both play SADOWSKY guitars. I know Juan Luis guerra who is on the left also has a SADOWSKY guitar painted with the Dominican flag on it, that pic can be found on the SADOWSKY site. Any how cool pic here with another of Roger's Gems.

My Journey Tribute act has lots of audio and video that we have never released. My drummer is slowly putting some of it together. He sent me this song the other day. I thought I would share it as it demonstrates how well a Sadowsky cuts through the mix.

This was recorded live from the board. My setup is my Sadowsky Standard 4 > Genz Benz Shuttlemax 12.0 > DI and Mic'd Genz Benz Uber 410 cab.

The In-Stock page at Sadowsky sports three basses, side-by-side, that are killing me.

#6181, #6185 and #6199 are all 24-sting, maple neck, swamp ash body axes, BUT each of these four stringers has a different pickup configuration - soapbars in what looks like '60's position, soapbars in "Modern" position, and single-coils in '60s position.

MAN, would I love to play these side-by-side...I've had a lot of curiosity about the soapbars in 60's position. Great chance to compare, with the pickups as the only variation.

Particularly frustrating is that I have to jet in and out of Newark at the end of this week, but my schedule is far too tight to permit a jaunt to Long Island City. Rats.

If anyone out there gets to compare these axes, let us know what you think!

i was just there 1 hour ago , i played all three siide by side comparison,
all 3 sound great , i thought the modern looked the best ,and lightest, the single coil had the perfect sadowsky sound,the soapbar had a more thicker, boomier sound, if i had to pick one i would have taken the single coil for sound , the modern for looks
