That wii be amazing !I'm really into this color lately! Can hardly wait to see the final build!![]()
I got in. Using an iPhone
I have not tried flats on my Sadowsky P Bass yet , I have them on my old fender P but am going to throw some on soon when I get my new Jaguar 200 all tube bass head . I have tried it for the last 2 years at NAMM and really dig it and have decided to go with it. Tube heads seem like they are making a comeback , wish Roger would bring his back . That amp was seriously the best sounding bass head I ever played thru , maybe he will , who knows .i just love that black one
To be clear - resetting Safari like I did caused the loss of save pswds and top sites. My point was that is suppose to clear cache as well but made no difference accessing the Sadowsky site.
FYI looks like they took it down again and are working on it. Stay tuned.AHA! But, it did not solve the problem...
I'd probably still say the same thing....Orange Bomber>WW>Berg...yep; that's gonna be snappy
I know my bass/strings/amp/settings probably makes it seem like I'm a "sizzler," I'm totally not.
I have really fat sounding fingers for some reason, as you alluded to in your post, and if I ran "dark" gear, it'd be too much dark on dark, for me.
Vic ends up about the same way as be: you'd "read" his tone as pretty bright by his gear/etc choices, but, his band demo tones aren't super snappy like that either.
Yeah: you need a Sadowsky P. Toooootally.
Lastly:
this whole discussion is maybe a great example of "you can read and read and read, and you're still not really gonna know what "Gear Bit X" is gonna do til you get it in your personal hands; cause a lot of it really does come from your hands.
I'm in @ 1;50PM est. Never had a problem. Wonder if it could be the service provider or server. I had a problem once with the (my) server not being able to identify Talk Bass site.FYI looks like they took it down again and are working on it. Stay tuned.
The main issue with running a forum is not in setting it up and turning it on... it's the vigilance of fighting the porn/malware link spammers that attack forums as easy prey to put their links out there. Depending on the technology used for the forum, it can really be a huge PIA because there's a lot of sophisticated auto-bot functionality out there that is easy to run, and difficult to block.Sure seems like somebody could step in here and put up a hosted community forum site for all of these private manufacturers, guitar, bass, whatever. It would be a great resource for players that could be easily funded by the manufacturers via membership fees (so they "make the rules") without turning roger sadowsky et al into webmasters. I don't have anywhere near the kind of time it would take, but seems pretty trivial for the fine owners of talkbass.com. Get a new domain if you want to keep talkbass.com "pure bass". I'd move all the sponsored forums to that new domain as well.
My .02.
No, that's just what they tell the poor idio... I mean candidates interested in being moderators. It's not all Unicorns and Rainbows???????
It's not all Unicorns and Rainbows???????
It'll be back.I'm not seeing Armadillos, Unicorns, Rainbows, or the Sadowsky website!(not sure I want to see those armadillos.
)
i just love that black one
Nice !Thanks... it's my first (2005) and still the most dear to my heart. Maybe it's the maple board, or the fact that it was my #1 gig bass for five straight years before I expanded my Sadowsky collection (after which it went into rotation).
Getting back to P-bass tones for a moment, this video (featuring Blackie) captures my hard rock tone pretty well: gnarly!
