Ahhh yes... for a short time I had two insanely great solid ash/maple NYC MV5's with singles after nabbing that one from Ken to A/B with 4098. That is another special Sadowsky IMHO.I thought I recognized that.

I still feel that 'moderate weight, ash/maple, single coils in 60's position' Sadowsky build is the 'sweet spot' in the line. Unique tone due to the 'Sadowsky' components and design, and the 60's position combined with ash/maple. It is THE Sadowsky tone to my ear.
