How about naming it The Lion King

I take it that you were the original owner ? :)

Which means, I would be the forth (Kjung/Vic/Rwider/Bassconbeatz). Everyone has treated this gal like a queen. She's as prestine as the day she was born :hyper:

And yes, the perfect Sadowsky spec. I'm now so tempted in ordering one with the exact specs but with a fancy top. I must resist ;)

Glad that wonderful bass found a home. I had many, many, many wonderful gigs over the years with that instrument! Still looks great! Enjoy!

I still feel that 'moderate weight, ash/maple, single coils in 60's position' Sadowsky build is the 'sweet spot' in the line. Unique tone due to the 'Sadowsky' components and design, and the 60's position combined with ash/maple. It is THE Sadowsky tone to my ear.

I suggest "Belle". That's from "Beauty and the Beast", seeing as how this bass is probably both. :)

Or maybe "Adam", though that's from Disney. The original story didn't give him a name, as I recall.

Yes. Wonderful bass! Bought it new from the Sadowsky 'in stock page' in 2008 (I think) and played it regularly for a few years. Only reason I sold it was a 'thinning the herd' sort of thing, and my move toward gigging a P more than a J.

I used that bass in many of my demonstration video's when I had my Youtube channel up and running, so it became quite well known on the TB community a while back!
