No Real News from me.

Sold my RV5, as I have alder/rw basses that "do that vibe better."

My MV5JJ continues to be my main thing,
and the MV5PJ is nice in the toolbox, but, not a front line bass most of the time.

The shop is 45 minutes from home and 5 minutes from the office. I would prefer walking in and A / B the alder and an ash PJ before I buy. Doesn't make sense to buy from a dealer when I can buy direct without having to ship. I make it a point not to go to the shop unless I need strings , and I don't really need a NYC , a Metro fits my needs. I fight the urge to go to the shop at least 3 times a week

Absolutely, I know what you mean.
I use the low D at the end of 'I Feel Good' for a big finish by using my drop D tuner on my ash/maple MV4.

Love my Sadowskys across the fretboard. A properly intonated low B sounds great from the nut to well above the 12th fret.
