Club Sadowsky!!!

View attachment 378072View attachment 378073

This just arrived two days earlier than I expected...I'm so thrilled to own a Sadowsky...incredible sound, build quality and great playability!!! LOVE that Sadowsky sound.

My only gripe is that the fret edges from the ninth fret to the twenty second are pretty sub par...but I've already made an appt to remedy that.

Just thought it was worth mentioning

Happy to finally be part of the family

Looks like the E string is off the saddle. Send to me and I'll fix it and make sure she plays great! Ha!
Congrats!

Wow, good catch, you're right! :)

WAIT, NO, SEND IT TO ME!!!! :)

I just put a set of DR Fat Beams on my RV5-WL(replacing a set of light gauge Sunbeams). The bass hits like a hammer now. I didn't think the difference would be night and day but the low end is just massive now. Can't wait to hear it on the gigs this weekend!

I haven't noticed fretboard shrinkage on any of my Sadowskys. It happens to a painful degree on two other fivers I own, usually toward the end of winter. I was planning on doing something about it... but then I got my Sadowskys. :ninja:

Gee, that looks just like the one in your avatar. :p

Love the close-up pics, what a beauty. She shouldn't hang around long!

Man, all I have to say is, I get it. Just got my first sadowsky today. Feels like it was made for my hands, and my ears, the tone is exactly what I hear in my head. Was worried about getting the single coils before but i think these HC are perfect for me. Im literally in love. Not many basses have felt perfect in my hands. Here she is. Named her Mary Augustus after my grandmother who died last week. Dont think this one will ever go anywhere. I get what everyones talking about.

Wow, Vic—this is one of my favorite 5ers! The combination of features and looks is amazing. Good thing it's not got a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and a for sale sign on it—at least I can pretend I don't have GAS—for now. ;) :D

Been putting a lot of miles on this one recently. Just continues to get "better" somehow. Maybe I'm just getting more used to its nuances. I don't wanna' speak blasphemy here, but since I have the other bass with singles in it, I am thinking about trying HC's again at least in this one just for kicks. :)
