What gets me about your red one...the quilt on the body is crazy good enough, but that FRETBOARD...:D If I didn't have such a bias toward rosewoods, I'd go your route. Well done.
I wish I could have gotten a decent shot of my fretboard. I'm guessing my bass will make the "Recently Sold Instruments" page eventually; check that. They got a good shot of the "wave" figuring. Which wasn't something I specified...that made itself apparent in the early production. But fits the theme nicely. :)

:D Funny you mention a P...right after I found out this one was done, 'twas Christmas time, and I was playing my el cheapo brat 4-banger P strung with flats for services, and she was copping her usual attitude. I thought, "wonder how much those Ultra Vintage P's run?" :laugh:

Another add to the wish list...unless anyone's got a '51 replica P4 just laying around they want to give away...:roflmao:

If your bass was a custom order, like mine, it won't make the recently sold page. Only basses for sale on their website get posted on that page.

Really beautiful bass. I'm sure it is a joy to play too. My Standard PJ4 ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]) has a quilted maple top as well, over transparent black. Roger and Co. really put a lot of love into what they do.

Beautiful bass @FunkSheep08 , blue is my color and that quilt is just jawdropping!

I just realised today that this year would mark 5 awesome years with the best bass I've ever had (and probably ever will)...It's certainly evolved quite a bit over the years and the back and sides of the neck are showing some age but I like it! Adds some character and now it's not so shiny and new so no more coddling from me (well, maybe a little :D).

Still turning heads and dropping jaws everywhere and the best sound money can buy, so here's to 50 more years with sexy Sadie (Hopefully I'm still playing at that age)!

Good sweet Lord. See, yours is one of those basses that I would point to when someone goes gaga over mine and say "But the shop did that too!! Mine's cool, but this is just as good if not better!!" I have no words for your top, it is that gorgeous. And clearly she's a player, the "love marks" are a testimony to that!
