Club Sadowsky!!!

Thanks! The video is only on the desktop version, not mobile, so be sure to check it out on a desktop. And please message me if you see anything that's not quite right. We are working through it page by page to make sure all of the links, etc are updated now that we have our server/loading/speed issues resolved.

I saw something that's not quite right.....I'm missing from the artist page! ;)

Fun gig the other night. We had "Tunes" (Beaver Brown Band, Eddie & The Cruisers) on Sax for a few songs. Great talent and nice guy. Of course, my trusty Purple Standard 4 was on hand too!!

Anyone know how to remove the 6mm sleeve from Sadowsky chrome knobs so they fit normal Sadowsky 1/4" posts?

I replaced a Nordy pre in my newly acquired Ultra Vintage PJ5. It appears the knobs have a brass sleeve in them (Nordy pre has smaller posts). I may have pushed the sleeve deeper before I realized what was going on.

Pics for reference...

I haven't done this, so....

What I would try is to get a 7/32 drill bit, chuck it up on the drill, then set the drill for reverse. Grab the knob with some smooth or padded channel locks, and then turning the drill motor slowly try to engage the sleeve and back it out. FWIW, just tossing out what I would try.

Thanks for the tip.

I also found these. Look to be a match. If all else fails I'll sell my current ones with the Nordy pre and buy these...

LOL!!!
That you guys for making me laugh! My Mesa Titan V12 just failed on me for the second time in two months, despite being repaired last month for 320 bucks.
I'll wash my hads off that amp.

Well that's not good!! What are you thinking of switching to?

I've been using TC Electonic stuff (Have a couple of set ups) or my cherished Eden WT800.

Damn. I was gonna post a Sadowsky action shot of me at a local dive bar, but never mind.

maybe I'll just wait a page or three. :D

Well that's settled... if you aren't going to do it, I will! Metro RV5 PJ5 in Dive Bar glory!!
