That's the one! It will be an adjustment for me because literally every other bass that I own is black.
Yours is beautiful, I can tell even with the blurry picture. I love that kind of pinkish tint that they tend to get from the wood showing through the white.
You may want to invest in lens cleaner, or a phone upgrade...
. Pic isn't blurred (not on my end, anyways), and other than transparent white finish, the only color that pops out is a blue, from the grain (maybe ambient lighting?)... the only thing you will have to get used to, is people telling you how awesome you sound... Enjoy!

Yeah yours doesn't really show the pink. I meant what I've seen in other pics like this one.
That's one thing that I like about the trans white. different light seems to highlight different tones.

I hate to think about where I am in a build.. I think the tree has just been cut and needs to picked up off the ground and carried in to dry out.

I'm learning on a 5 string build, currently... if that works out for me, THEN I will think about a 'real' 5 string...
... I just have to prove to myself the 'B' is not just a thumb rest...

Ok ok, I know it's only been ONE day since I made my deposit, but now I know what waiting for a Sadowsky is like... Three parts awesomeness, one part anticipation, a few springs of nervousness and a sprinkle of hurry the **** up with my order!!
But in all seriousness this will be a fun wait. After owning a couple of Metros I'm just so excited at the thought of owning/playing an NYC on daily basis. I thought my 9.6 lb metro RV5 was a light bass, the possibility I may end up with a fiver right around 8lbs is unreal!

Eezy-peezy, good buddy! Just play some pop tunes in B, B minor, C, C# minor, or D and allow yourself to _explore the space_. (And I ain't talking about a cowbell part.)

One day - probably not even a full 24 hours and you think you know already what it's like to wait on a Sadowsky build?!?!? SMDHWait until you have a few weeks in like we old timers, then you will have some idea of what waiting feels like!!

But, there is no question that the 5 is a far better tool for some downward transposing. Case in point, is one of my current gigs is covering Can’t Hurry Love, but transposing down a whole step. The detuned 4 has the notes; but, there is no physical way to play that signature Jamerson toggle between the Ab and the Eb. Enter the 5, which completely resolves that issue.
My problem with most 5’s I’ve gigged is that they either feel unwieldy with the 19mm string spacing or a bit cramped with the 17mm spacing. Not many builders offer something in the middle. I don’t care much about the actual string spacing either way. It’s more about the neck calibrations for me. The NYC shop offers the 18mm bridge; but it goes on the 19mm neck.
So, for the time being, I’ll keep gigging the 4 and use a 5 when the material needs it.
Right! I like my Roscoe basses with the A style Hipshot bridge. But hand size does make a difference too, although some would argue proper fretting techniques correct that.
FWIW I have small hands for my 6 foot frame, but I'm fine on 19mm five string.
Another case where 5 string saved the day: my R&B band does Aretha's "Respect" in Bb instead of C. So, the verse bounces between Eb and F instead of F and G. I suppose I could have figured it out using a D-tuner/Xtender (excellent device, btw) but the B string provides a more elegant solution IME.

Right! Well, then there are those who are just gifted like that! 
Actually, I own 18 & 19mm basses. I used to own a couple of Spector basses, but I sold them due to their weight and my change in not wanting heavy basses.
I'm diving more into slap bass techniques and find the 19mm basses give my fat thumb that extra space for pulling up on a string using the thumb.

Just to be clear, I’m fine with the 19mm string spacing. My issue is purely the feel and sense of the neck. The wider neck just has a more unwieldy feel to me. I do like the 1 3/4 nut on the WL5. YMMV
The funny thing is my 6 string Tobias has an even wider neck (obviously), but doesn’t feel unwieldy. So sue me; I’m gettin old and partic’lar in my ways.
