Club Sadowsky!!!

Tuesday's gig which was 2 basses and 1 drummer. Satin Deluxe 5-21 on the left, Fodera 12-string electric (6-string doubled) on the right. Oh, and did I mention that the 12-string is fretless ?!?!?!?

I've got to give you a like for that. Any audio?

Only if you're adventurous. This was unrehearsed and we had an idea of some tunes that we might try and approach, but it is all improv. My bass is mostly left channel, other bass (12 strings, both fretted and fretless) in the right channel. Zoom H6n with the XY mic for drums and bass amps on stage, Bergantino Forte DI for mine, Puma 500 DI for the other.

I was swapping between the 5-12 and my Fodera YYD during the night. This track is most (all?) Sadowsky. Takes awhile to get going as the recording is breaking up what was mostly an hour straight set.

This one is both basses at different times. Some crazy stuff around 9 min

And actually should listen to them the other order, as Nor led right into What (which led into My Girl :D)

I have a strange clicking problem with my old Sadowsky split Jazzbass pickups.
When my fingers touch the pole pieces of bottom part (4of 8) of both pickups there is a litlle hum...
So when i play i hear a clicking pop sound. That does not do that with other pickups that i had tested.
Bridge is grounded

any clue

thx
