I'm a serial tinkerer so I've got some Aguilar DCBs headed my way to test out on mine just to see how they sound.
My sense is that they will do their best to satisfy the customer, as long as two points check off. First, the pickups need to have footprints that fit the standard routings. Second, the pickups have to pass the Lisa test. Third, you have to be nice to them.
Who said musicians could count?
Mostly I favor the P, either just slightly off of center or all the way on P. I'll go center if I need a bit of a mid scooped tone. I never favor the J pickup.
My PJ is 100% P and 0% J.

Guys, Roger's team in Tokyo are top notch craftsmen. I am beyond impressed with my Limited Edition Metro Vintage 5. The builders in the Tokyo shop have the same attuned ear for wood as the builders in the NY shop.

I'm surprised that one hasn't sold yet. Don't see a lot of Caramel burst. (took 11 months to get mine) Not sure if you've ever seen one in person (they look amazing)

I work with the P pickup side of the detent, anywhere from 50% to 100%, with 60% being the sweet spot for me.
There was a nice newly listed Olympic White Satin Vintage NYC that appeared for sale only briefly, must have sold right away.
Funny... same thing happened to me, during my trek through the Gobi...

There's something about olympic white basses that people love. They seem to go by really quickly.
I didn't get it at first... though now I'm remembering that I did have an olympic white G&L L2000 with a Rosewood board many years ago that I loved. I'd still have it now if it didn't weigh a ton.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the new SBP-2 preamp pedal. I’m guessing it’s an MXR size box but wanted exact measurements for a Pedalboard project.

Yeah that’s not even close. The SBP1 is 4.5 x 4.5 x 2.5
SBP-1 lists the same measurement, as the SBP-2... not good.

I guess they could put it in any size box they want... I would like to think they would list the exact physical footprint of the device itself.
