I'm currently delaying a recording session waiting for my new Satin to arrive. It's not a rush, we aren't on a time limit or budget. I keep having to come up with lame excuses to my bandmates as to why I haven't done it yet, lol. So far I've used...

"I'm still editing your drums"
"I want the vocals down first"
"Drums are taking longer than expected"
"Can we double that guitar?"
"So the drums need a lot of work..."

Fine print- The drums are great - I havent changed anything in days, I think he's on to me...

You should be careful...you listed your bands in your info. They “could” find out!

I ordered an NYC Satin in March and was told about six months.

I also ordered a Satin in March, and was told six months as well. I'm really hoping it's six months and not too much longer. Because my wife might kill me (I'm not so good at the whole "patience" thing...).

Oh I'm sure it will be! I've got the same color coming too....

I actually made a really, REALLY lousy mockup in Microsoft Paint with 2 pics from the "recently sold" page to tide me over until mine is done. I haven't seen one with my pickguard/color combo.

I'd post it but man... It's bad, lol. As Spock may have said.. "Darn it Jim, I'm a bassist not a graphic designer."
