Club Sadowsky!!!

Decisions, decisions!!! Came into a nice little bonus from work and before my wifey does something stupid with the money like pay a bill or the mortgage I have an opportunity to buy a Deluxe Satin Sadowsky. So, by show of hands, which one would you choose? Never thought I would have the opportunity to own a NYC Sadowsky.

This one? 59 Burst

Or this one? Caramel.

The 59 burst, but the birdseye maple neck on mine is superb.

Just took delivery of my MetroExpress Ice Blue fiver and played it on a gig Thursday... it's killer. Light, beautiful, and sounds amazing. Another great Sadowsky experience! Thanks, Roger et al - it was worth the wait.

Sort of dreaming aloud. I like the Satin Series and they come at more affordable prices. I’d probably go with the 5/24 configuration.

Anyway, I like their green finishes. In particular, Sage and Olive. An informal poll to Sadowsky fans: Sage or Olive?

In a perfect world, I’d love one of each finish, but that’s not my reality today.

Examples for consideration:
Sage

Ok. A very positive response in support of Sage green metallic. Part 2 of my informal poll. Sage with a Maple or Morado freboard?

Sample pictures for reference. Note the 5/24 will not have the white Pickguard.

You could try my NYC ash maple if you want a sonic reference, it is single coils though.

Fresh pic of my 3 NYC’s (had 4/just sold my Seafoam UV JJ 5)...View attachment 3141764
I use the UV P 70% of the time, and the other two share the remaining 30% equally. I went thru the custom order process for all three, and very pleased with the results. Definitely worth the l-o-n-g wait time!!!

Realized that my Seafoam rarely got used, so decided to let it go to a worthy home/good guy (and local TB’er)...

Complete tonal opposites on the J and PJ and the fretless is just WOW. You should be able to be tone conscience while playing any song EVER recorded.

Thanks!

These three NYC’s, cover any tone I’d want to achieve. I seriously use all of them frequently...which keeps me feeling like my investment is well worth it, and nothing additional is sitting “on the sidelines” now...:)
