Moderns pickup placement is closer to the bridge than a JJ placement. Resulting in a more mid focused modern tone than a traditional scooped JJ tone. See photo.

I Googled ... I hit up Carey Nordstrand (no go) and dagum, I just want some cool-looking cream pickup covers for my Sea-Foam Green Thump Machine.
Like this, except my bass has 5 strings and isn't all tiny.

There is that "Rusty" finish Warwick has done. Apparently there is ONE person who wants a rusty plastic pickup cover.
EMG PJ5 set: your cover options are black, white, or ivory (cream). Typically true for all EMG pickups, and I noticed that red is a fourth option for the PJ4 set.

You probably aren't interested in a pickup swap, don't even know whether these will fit 19mm bridge spacing, but... white/cream.
What if Magneto makes an appearance, directing all the microscopic iron particles onto the pickup covers? And to be a jerk (of course, he is a villain), throwing water and salt onto it, just to begin the oxidation.
Find white and soak them in coffee. I just did a strat and it came out awesome.
Don’t know how I overlooked those, and I just wonder if they work with 19mm Sadowsky spacing?
EDIT: you totes mentioned the ‘not sure about 19mm’ aspect. I need to sleep more
