Here's another thing to ponder - Warwick spends a lot on advertising using players from certain genres and what model they use. Will the Metro an ME lines begin to have same exposure based on a visible player? Will be interesting to see for sure.

Tread carefully, I've read of some dodgy adverts for up market basses in Europe, and it's been a conn.
I have Pre-Warwick Metro Will Lee that I love as much as either of the 2 NYC's I had, but I would be willing to let it go for $7000 if anyone is interested.
I hope Warwick updates its website. Design is super old. Difficult to find things and sparse information. I love my Sadowsky NYC PJ and am saving for a UV60, but these new lines are very attractive. Hope Warwick will rock it. Not a lot of communication from them about their RockBass Sklarbass. Warwicks are typically heavy. Wonder if that will effect the new ones?

I swooped in to finally buy my "dream bass" in 2016 among a handful of reasons but in part because I recognize mortality. My father turned 80 this year, Roger turned 70. Fine.
Warwick does great work! I don't much care about their waste credentials - just build the finest musical instruments possible and let those manufacturing toys, attire and kitchen utensils fuss about that.

Yes! The Warwick website is unbelievably difficult to navigate both using a PC and mobile device.
Big question time: am I going to get a Thumb 5, 19mm spacing with a Sadowsky pre?
Like many others, I was a bit shaken by the Warwick distribution news. The things that have been so consistent from Sadowsky over the years is quality and customer service. So I hope this move is just a continuation of that, and not some turning point where the name ‘Sadowsky’ suddenly means something different.

Ya know, thinking about this again, Warwick routinely builds 6-strings. Maybe they could produce some.
I would fully commit (finally) to the 6, after many attempts, if it had that Dowsky feel/sound
If the bass is legit and in good shape, that's a great price for a NYC bass. Mine is the last electric bass I'll ever own (and it's already been for the last ten years).
