My P Pickup looks a little 'catty-wompus' straight on, but sonically, when I favor the P Pickup, the Geological Survey ends up zeroing in on my location, and the marmet population declines considerably, so no big deal IMO.

Zero reason to be concerned that strings aren't perfectly centered between polepieces. Except maybe if you have a particularly virulent case of OCD.![]()
Someone just posted a nice one here on TB in burgundy mistI'm on the hunt for a Metro Express - can't find anything in the US at all. I remember a while back there was a dealer in Japan with them in stock and they shipped internationally - does anyone happen to remember that dealer?

It appears the only one in stock right now has a black body / morado board, weight at 7.5 lb.

Reverb has this ME:
Sadowsky MetroExpress 2019 Sage Green Metallic | Skip's Place
I owned a maple board ME most of 2019 and was just super impressed with it. It sounded way snappier than my previous rosewood Satin JJ.
I sold the ME it to get a Satin PJ.
I think you did alright there...Yep - saw both of those. In my case though I was specifically looking for a 5 string, and in the ash/maple combo.

AWESOME!!I ended up throwing caution to the wind - pulled the trigger on this beautiful Satin Deluxe instead...
Sadowsky - NYC Deluxe Satin Series 5-21 - Oahu Blue Burst
