Have the exact one, tell yourself you got a $5k bass for what you paid and you’ll feel even better about it ;). Just finished an album with mine and not sure I’ve touched any of my other basses since. Enjoy!

Just for update: I received a very nice reply from Mr. Hans-Peter Wilfer himself, telling me that they will send me the polishing cloth and confirming that my bass is a new made one (no pre production).
So, a BIG thumbs up for Warwick Customer Service! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Weight is almost the same of my NYC Satin Modern 5-24.
I checked the electronics and I confirm that on German Sadowsky pots are MECs and the main PCB is different from the NYC (different part number and so on).
It seems to me that switching from passive to active, the output signal is boosted more compared to the NYC (on this last one with both controls of bass and treble at 0, switching from passive to active the output signal is almost the same). This is not a problem for me, because I never play active basses in passive mode.
Does anyone know if graphite bars are inserted in the neck and if the body is chambered like the NYC line?

On the Metro expresses, anyone change the pickguard ? If so where did they get one ? Having thoughts about a mint pickguard on black body

There was a mention of pickguard planet or something like that, However that was after I had ordered mine from Quick Guards and it fit absolutely perfect which is interesting because I didn’t realize that there’s a little piece of it that literally slides underneath the base of the fingerboard at the base of the base of the neck and it still fit perfectly

Not sure if it matters to me in my current situation, but does anyone know or can someone ask if the Dunlop Dual strap locks could be optionally spec'd at no upcharge? I feel like that's kinda' the standard set forth before, and what some people might still prefer.

I didn't see any options when I ordered mine. I will be swapping to Dunlop straplocks when the bass arrives and I've checked it over.

When you order a Master Built or Customshop, Dunlop is an upcharge option, not available for Metro standard instrument tho.
