That was me. Also me - I had the on/off positions backwards for the mid boost. So, not sure how valid that opinion was. Heh.

Has anyone verified doing this is not going to damage the circuit? Just want to make sure. The manual does state "only one switch should be on at a time".
No smoke from my bass yet. I also ran a Batt-o-meter with it on/off and there was no difference in projected battery life, so I think that means that it's the same current draw.

I tried it very briefly on mine then reverted back to the standard setting. It certainly has done no harm and all the switch options continue to work normally.
Here is a picture of my first Sadowsky. It’s a 2011 NYC 4-21 in Bora Blue Burst with a Quilted Maple Top. Awesome sound and playability. I’m very impressed with this bass and it will not be my last Sadowsky. In fact, I’m already looking for a Metroline model as a backup.
I would love to have a 5 string version of that exact bass and finish.
Is that an ebony board? Dark blue/ebony/black hardware is gorgeous - if I ever custom order a Sadowsky, those features will be part of the mix!
I'd settle for that blue sky in Boca, looking so beautiful after spending 5 hours shoveling snow today in single digit temps.

No, it's not an ebony fretboard. It pretty sure that it's rosewood, not morado (pau ferro). It is dark like ebony, which I like. I need to email Sadwosky to get the details.

I used to be a big fan of the Hipshot A style bridge, but the Sadowsky bridge is now my fave. Easy to install strings, easy to adjust, even the ability to get an easy visual to see that the saddles are level when you're adjusting the string height. I guess with Sadowsky you get great tone and the sum of the little things that add up to something great.
I just received my first Sadowsky, a Satin Deluxe M24. Before this, I had never played a Sadowsky.
First quick impressions: WHOA, WHERE HAS THIS THING BEEN ALL MY LIFE. I've never had another instrument that played so well. What kind of pixie-dust magic goes into these things?!?
It's too soon to do anything this rash, but I can imagine a gear sell-off of other instruments in order to acquire another Sadowsky or two.
