I've been working on that one, and also trying to focus on playing on a 5-er. Very challenging combination for sure!

That one, in particular, just flows like butta on a 4-string with a drop-D. Heck, keep the 5ver, but tune your E to a D, if you like!
Here's one. ME Japan. Sage green metalic. Wonderful bass.

Then this one came along, NYC ash body, ebony board, singles, 24 fret...
Next came this MIJ MetroExpress, new stacked humbuckers, ash/maple:
Finally came this MIJ MetroLine PJ, ash/maple, tho it's got a black pearl guard on it right now, which i like way better:

Curious and not for any real reason beyond just that. The guys that built the MIJ Sadowsky Metro line, any idea what their small shop builds for now?
Great question. Hopefully they are building something cause they sure were good at the trade.
There was a thread somewhere around here (Basses Forum?) about a brand called “Three Dots” or “3 Dots” that mentioned Yoshi I believe?
Asked Roger for an update on my build last week and he sent me this! Okoume body, roasted maple neck with ebony board. (Modern 24). Probably won’t be ready until May, but I’m glad to see it in its infancy!

I no longer have the 25th Anniversary Modern. Loved, loved, loved the bass, but I have found that this particular pickup placement just doesn't trip my trigger.
Plus, the P/J 5 just fits my preferences and the "ideal tone in my head" so much better.
The WL4 still just kills, too:
Still, I wouldn't mind getting that Modern back in the stable:

That stack is killer. The tube head just has to sound amazing.
