Thanks for that. I just needed to clarify terminology. I have always called my metroline Will Lee a Japan metroline to distinguish it from the German models. Somehow "Kikuchi Metroline" sounds more distinguished.
Yeah I think that's easiest. Japan Metro/Metroline/MetroExpress vs China MetroExpress and German Metroline. Then you have NYC Custom and German Masterbuilt.
Seems easy enough.
Sorry - tried to get the light to show them well but it seems like a losing battle this week, so here they are mostly-well lit.

I regret not getting that when I purchased my Satin in dark Lake Placid blue, but was flush out of cash.

Because there is no reason, ever, to part with one. Shoot - I smile when I just LOOK at mine, and I quickly go into poopie-eatin'-grin territory when I pick it up to play, even 2+ years after I picked it up.
If you're patient enough, someday I may have a great-grandchild of mine dumb enough to sell it. My daughter knows to keep it, so someday her kids will also know it's a family heirloom. After that, who knows?

And pretty much all sold in a minute.
Last week, I received this 5-21 from the shop. Many thanks to Roger & crew for another fantastic instrument. I've owned half a dozen different 5 strings Lakland, Spector, Warwick, EBMM, ect and never really got on with any of them. Coming from that 4 string background, the 5-21 feels more natural to play plus, it's not near as fatiguing to play. Family photo 5-21, Will Lee 4, S Type Guitar
