Club Sadowsky!!!

Replaced mine with Dunlop. Not sure why, but the sad s-locks kept turning sideways then upside down.

Yes, the locks on the strap side do twist. I don't like the Sadowsky/Warwick strap lock system. I think I'm going to switch to Dunlop.

Ive had a Will Lee and a JB Satin before and they were great basses. Ive never owned a Modern i was always fascinated with them (24 frets and soapbars) but i dont have the scratch for an NYC and cant find a Satin. Was hesitant a bit on the Metroline, still i pulled the trigger on a brand new Metroline. Wow im very impressed i was able to do a nice low set up. Almost 1.25mm on G string and 1.75mm on E. and the weight was lighter than my other Sadowsky's back then just about 7.4lbs.

Yes! My German Masterbuilt Modern has become my favorite Sadowsky I've ever had. I've had NYC's, Japan Metros, German Metros, etc. And yes, the German basses seem to be able to take lower setups than even my NYC's could.

Pat did my old green Sadowsky, which was originally a blonde/transparent finish. The Sadowsky team was who recommended him when I asked the shop for a repaint. Will likely send my Lakland 44-64 to him for a super sparkle job next year.

Pat did a finish change on my 2005 NYC 4JJ for the prior owner. It is an absolutely beautiful Cherryburst. The finish is what sold me on that bass.

Nope, just me adjusting truss rod and bridge height. measurements were at the 12th fret. i did have to check the intonation after but just very minimal adjustments.
