That bass deserve HUNDREDS of big pics posted on this thread. Very cool. Normally, I don't like fancy tops (even though I have one:D) but Moderns were made for Spalts, Birdseyes and Quilts.

Did someone say "spalted"...:ninja:

I just bought this one to hold me over while my Modern is being built. I'm not usually a fan of spalted tops at all - but this one is absolutely ridiculous. It just spoke to me. I can't wait to take some nice photos of it.

I'm a fan of certain spalts. Your bass certainly is a nice one. What are the specs on your upcoming Modern?

Very nice! What's the body wood? If it's ash, it's essentially identical to mine. :)
