I'm a fan of certain spalts. Your bass certainly is a nice one. What are the specs on your upcoming Modern?

• Ash body
• 5A Quilted Top
• Cherry burst
• Birdseye Maple Board
• Chrome hardware

Well, when you decide to maybe think of trading that for a certain ash/maple Vintage 5, I may know where one is!

This one is supposed to be temporary so - it will/should be on the trade block soon. I have a V5 on order that is very, very similar to yours though... so it might be redundant.

With all that said though, it's such an amazing looking bass I'm wondering if I will be able to part with it...

Once you get the Sadowsky bug, nothing else compares. Glad I could get you started in the club! And, now with the Tiger's Eye one you have one of Sean's old basses and he has one of yours. The three of us should just start our own swap shop!

Thanks Rodney, I am a Sadowsky junkie now! I agree about the swap shop with you and Sean. We may need to add Joel, just because he has some cool basses.

So I was watching the Gossip Girl season 1 finale last night, and in the third from last shot on Rufus's tourbus the bass player is clearly playing a Sadowsky.

Here is my brand new Sadowsky Modern 5. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to own this. The B string on this thing sounds better than both my Spector NS5 and Modulus Q5. And it's 34" scale. Thanks to all who gave me advice on one of my previous posts.
