Wow! That is HOT!!! So hot. How does she sound? (as if I have to ask?)

Yep, checking, tho the bass doesn't look old enough for it to be from age. Maybe it took a temperature hit at some point. Anyway, I've always been told this is pretty strictly cosmetic, so it's highly debatable whether it's worth fixing or not.

It is totally cosmetic and it happened in a single very cold night. I was in a panic when I took it out of the case and it was like that after a trip to Ohio. I called Roger about it and even though the bass was over a year old he offered to have it resprayed for me! I thought about it and knew that it would eventually just happen again so I left it alone. I think now that it actually adds a lot of character to the bass. This has been my number 1 for a couple of years now. I have been in the same place as SQUID where I just couldn't find what I was looking for. He and I talk every few days or so and I realized that what he was looking for was probably something like this bass. I have 4 other Sadowskys and have been playing my Alleva as my number 1 for a while so I offered to send him this bass to check out. My offer was to take it and play it and if he didn't like it I would pay the shipping back to me and he could stop losing money on every trade or sale. He and I have bought sold or traded maybe a dozen or more basses now so I felt really comfortable doing this for him. I had no doubt he would probably keep it so I resigned myself that if he really dug it and wanted it, we would work something out. Thats what friends are for, you know? SQUID is a great guy and deserves a great bass and I think he has one now. I still have 6 Great basses so I am just as blessed as he is! I have to admit though that I am going through a bit of a process of elimination myself right now but I just can't decide what to get rid of....:hiding:

Enjoy her SQUID and don't you ever sell her without letting me know first!!!

:hyper:

BTW - Just wait until you get her on a gig or a rehearsal!!!!!!

Peace,

T

It sounds great! Loud, Agressive in your face tone! My other Big Single equipped Sadowsky is a Ultra Vintage 4, and sounds a little different..Both are Alder bodies, but the UV has a Brazilian Board (slightly warmer sounding), and this is Madagascar (Seems to have a little more Top end {Snap} to it)
