Club Sadowsky!!!

Thanks, I've been dreaming of owning a Sadowsky for over 20 years. Back then I was a Pro musician touring every where and I could not afford it. Now I'm 43, I'm a contractor and play in a local Funk band and now I can afford it. Go figure!

I'm having a new one made here pretty soon with a maple FB this time.

I have a similar "problem"! Even worse for me, is that now that I am finally able to afford "a recording studio at home" and higher end instruments, I don't have enough time to play or record my music!!!

Well, you waited an extra month because they had to pull the frets off and fill the damn thing with white stuff and than work on it more to make it smooth again :D;):D
Heavy stuff man!


BTW, two thumbs up for the guys in NY for adding the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] to the site. This topic popping up again and again.

My PJ5 seems to take longer than 5 months too...:bawl:

We stuck a camera in front our band at a recent gig we play once in awhile out in the sticks. Pretty rough recording and not so good accoustics, but you can hear my newer NYC UV pretty good. I really love this bass with the solid ash and Sadowsky single coils.

edit: click the HD button, it's a little better ... for a 'garage band' sound anyway :0)

I'm (almost) sure I read an interview with Roger some years ago where he stated something to the effect of "every couple of years or so I build a batch of graphite re-enforced necks just to remind myself that the graphite doesn't make a noticeable difference". If Roger did make a similar comment, I'm wondering why the switch to graphite re-enforced necks in the NYCs. For that matter, why the discrepancy between the NYC and metro necks with regard to graphite rods?

Cool! :D

Now if you could just get the keyboard player to cop the trumpet part above the sax on his right hand, that'd be even better. :)
